The Motion Picture Association of America, MPAA and its international counterpart the Motion Picture Association, MPA, is the voice of the industry movies, home video and television.
Today these associations represent not only the cinema but have become leaders who defend the largest producers and distributors of programs and shows of television, cable, home video and future content delivery systems.
Founded at 1922 the MPAA has expanded its coverage over the years to reflect the diversity of an ever-expanding industry.
