multiCAM Systems

multiCAM Systems presents its new proprietary PTZ camera for live productions. This hybrid IP and SDI camera, named mCam, comes ready to use and is compatible with all the integrated production systems of the brand.

The camera is designed to make use of SDI cabling and can operate in hybrid SDI and IP mode, using an IP interface to manage camera sources and PTZ control over the network, when necessary.

Also, the device is built to easily switch between both modes, supporting color and image reproduction in 1080p quality in both SDI and IP mode. Its design includes 3G HD-SDI rear connections, as well as an RJ-45 Ethernet input for signal control over the network. The Power over Ethernet (PoE) function is also available when integrated with a standard switch.

MCam comes with the latest firmware installed before shipment to streamline installation times, eliminating configuration steps, allowing the product to be ready to work in one hour, if the SDI or IP infrastructure is already installed.

Additionally, the product can operate in manual, automatic or hybrid mode, including a joystick and is also compatible with virtual joysticks.
