The Good moment of Spanish cinema
Both the Colombian and Spanish audiovisual industry have registered a sustained growth in recent years and, currently, there are more and more opportunities to generate business among them. 2006 and 2017 were co-produced between Spain and Colombia by 20. On the other hand, in the same period, 10 Colombian films were released in Spain. Among them are The Embrace of the Serpent, Paradise Travel and Dreaming costs nothing.

In fact, BAM's invitation to Spain comes at a time of significant growth in the audiovisual sector in that country. According to information from the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts of Spain (ICAA), "2017 produced 241 Spanish feature films (120 feature films are documentaries and animation 4), of which 42 were co-produced with other countries. Of them, the one of Demons your Eyes of Pedro Aguilera was realized with Colombia. In addition, the filming of 196 feature films has begun during the year, and 153 feature films have been released in commercial movie theaters. "

Apart from the economic benefits, Spain offers the actors of the international audiovisual sector the possibility of accessing a market of productions that are increasingly seen in different circuits to the exhibition halls, such as streaming platforms, which becomes an opportunity for the Colombian audiovisual industry.
