Mexico.IFT Tower The Federal Telecommunications Institute, IFT, provides the public an electronic tool to denounce the operation of radio stations without concession.

Within the scope of its powers, through the Compliance Unit, the Institute conducts monitoring and verification visits and inspection for the purpose of safeguarding the legal, effective and efficient use of radio spectrum, and thus the functioning of telecommunications and broadcasting services.

September to December 2013 2015, there have been several seizures of equipment stations operating without the respective concession.

In order to receive information from any interested party, the Institute now have the "Complaints of Broadcasters without concession", which may inform anonymously or personally, on the illegal operation frequency tool.

When making a complaint should include information such as the type of transmission content (music, commercials, etc.), locality in which (state and municipality) is heard, schedule transmissions, plus other optional items such as possible location transmitter or antenna.

This information will be received by the Compliance Unit of the Institute, who will follow up the complaint and verify their origin.

The tool can be found on the page www.ift.org.mx
