Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, announced the opening of the tender for the first three lines of the Fund for Promoting Development for Audiovisual Media, Fomeca. The closing dates for the presentation of projects will be: for the 4 line, until the March 23; for the 5 line, until the April 13; and for the 3 line, until the 2 of May of the 2018, in all cases.

This means that all those media that are dedicated to the management and production of radio and audiovisual contents that are interested in participating in the subsidy program, can now present their projects to obtain financing.

In this edition, a lower percentage of counterparts is requested from non-profit organizations, with which they will be able to access the benefit, contributing a lower percentage of money to the project, making this tool reach more communication sectors.

"I am proud to announce that this 5 ° Edition of the Fomeca brings as a novelty the simplification of the registration process. This means expanding the possibilities of access to financing for more community communication actors. A diverse and federal audiovisual production is the only one that guarantees the true plurality of voices, "said President Enacom, Miguel De Godoy.

The registration process will be carried out, for the first time, in a complete way through the platform of Trámites a Distancia (TAD) by entering www.tramitesadistancia.gob.ar or through the AFIP page, validating the CUIT of the representatives legal aspects of the entity. It is important to bear in mind that in order to register for the 5 ° edition of the Fomeca competitions, it is mandatory that the entity has started the Fomeca Registration process, which is also carried out by the TAD platform.

Those interested can go to www.enacom.gob.ar/fomeca where they will find all the information about the different promotion lines with their respective regulations; an instruction that details step by step how to register; a dictionary of accounting, legal and communication terms; and the downloadable annexes to complete and then attach at the time of registration.
