Latin America. The conglomerate formed by the manufacturers of transmitters Plisch and Elettronika has positioned itself as a strong competitor in the American continent, mainly in the United States. With integral transmitters, its offer is among the most requested by broadcasters in the region, including the countries of South America, said Rubén Navarro, CEO of Elettronika.

"Plisch are high-power digital UHF transmitters of liquid state, always on the high-power line in a range of from 10 KV to 100 KV. Elettronica remained with the range of low power and they are cooled by air. This new company allows to expand the range of products. In Plisch we do not sell many options, everything is integrated into the team, while competitors' products live on the options, give many accessories and at first it seems to have a low cost, but adding it turns out to have a high price. We offer integral products at a fixed price, "he said about the Plisch transmitters.

The executive offered a brief description of the transmitter market in the countries of South America. "These models are the same that we distribute in South America, but there are even local manufacturers, which are also our competition for the price, and that's not a good thing, because a transmitter is a device that is bought for the long term and who buys cheap at most you will have a transmitter for a year or a year and a half ".

And detailed: "A transmitter of us has a guaranteed life of seven years, but I have transmitters operating from the 2000, that is, 18 years operating. In order for a transmitter to be long-lived and operate over time, based on how the technology advances, we must keep on the old transmitter lines a certain care and follow-up, interface with the components that have already been written off. other manufacturers, such as power supplies, filters, directional couplers or fans. "

Navarro concluded: "We have always had a policy of looking to the future, which means that what I sell today must be valid during those seven years, since if the format is changed, that transmitter would have to be removed and a new one purchased, and That is why we have so many customers and we are strong in the United States. We do not have to discard the transmitter with us; just a new software key, without touching a single piece of the transmitter when the standard changes. That is an added value that we give to our teams. "
