Latin America. Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR, is the new advanced monitoring solution in 8K with a DisplayPort connection presented by Blackmagic Design, which has two on-screen indicators, HDR compatibility, monitor calibration and LUT 3D of 33 points and which has been designed specifically for the film and television industry, in order to benefit from the new generation of monitors such as the Pro Display XDR.

The Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR is an advanced monitoring solution compatible with the 8K definition, as well as computer displays and high-end monitors with DisplayPort connection, such as the new XDR Pro Display.

Unlike the basic converters, the Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR device allows the use of calibrators from other manufacturers in order to correctly adjust the connected monitors, in order to achieve accurate color. It also offers the possibility of viewing two graphic representations simultaneously, such as the waveform, the chromatic components, the vectorscope or the histogram.

The front panel includes controls, an output to monitor the color of the images, audio meters and indicators of the signal format. For its part, on the rear panel there are four 12G SDI connections for HD, UHD and 8K sources. Also, it has two DisplayPort connections for common displays of computer equipment or USB-C DisplayPort for monitors such as the new Pro Display XDR.

This model allows to see two indicators of the signal on screen in a completely independent way, with the purpose of being able to comply with broadcasting standards in important high-end works. These are superimposed on the image, and it is possible to customize its position, size and opacity, or to select between different options, such as the waveform, to see the luminance levels in the received signal.

The Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR model includes the same three-dimensional 33 conversion tables that are used in the film industry. In addition, the possibility of adjusting it with a USB calibrator is provided.

All SDI 12G inputs have derivative outputs to connect other equipment. Also, compatibility with HD, UHD and 8K sources is provided, which is ideal for the film and television industries.
